Valentine's Day Cocktails: Drinks for You and Your Sweetheart

Or your gal pals for Galentines Day. They're a lot of fun and quite tasty. I'm not a mixologist, but I took some classics and added red and pink twists with strawberries and raspberries. Some are sweet, some sour, and some dry. Let me know what you enjoyed this holiday.

Raspberry Cosmo
1 oz raspberry/cranberry Juice
3 oz raspberry vodka
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz grenadine
Shake over ice
Serve in a martini glass with frozen raspberries for garnish

Pomegranate Whiskey Sour
1 oz pom juice
2 oz bourbon
1 oz Chambord
1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Shake over ice
Serve in lowball glass with ice and a Luxardo cherry.

Raspberry Bourbon Rickey
1/4 cup raspberries
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
2 oz bourbon
Shake over ice
Pour into highball glass and top with sparkling wine garnish with raspberries.

Strawberry Rhubarb Martini (not sweet)
3 oz Strawberry Vodka or Gin
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
Shaken over ice.
Three splashes of Rhuebarb Bitters, one luxardo cherry and strawberry garnish.
Servered in Coupe

Raspberry Jalapeno Margarita
2 oz Tequila
1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
3 oz Raspberry Pure (mix is fine)
Add as much or as little pickled Jalapeno as you like.
Mix in blender.
Serve in margarita glass and garnish with limes and raspberries.

Rose Gin Sour
2 oz Gin
3 oz Rose Lemonade
1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Serve in tulip glass with lemon garnish
